Atlasglobal adds its first Italian job

Italian introduction. Atlasglobal started its first scheduled flights to Italy – namely to Milan Malpensa – on 2 August, linking its Istanbul Atatürk hub to the home of fashion thrice-weekly.

  • Atlasglobal has started its first Italian route, commencing thrice-weekly operations to Milan Malpensa (MXP) from its growing Istanbul Atatürk (IST) hub on 2 August. Indeed, the 1,699-kilometre sector will become the airline’s 35th route from its main operational base. Operated by Atlasglobal’s A320 fleet, the airport pair will face direct competition from Turkish Airlines, which flies the same routing four times daily. Pegasus Airlines does however offer a daily flight between Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen and Milan Bergamo, as well as a four times weekly service to Malpensa. In addition, Turkish Airlines operates a daily rotation between Sabiha Gökçen and Malpensa.
