AirAsia India starts three new domestic routes

- AirAsia India has added three new domestic routes to its fledgling network. Two of the routes are from its main base at Bengaluru (BLR). All of the routes, which all began on 22 September, are already served by other carriers, with IndiGo, India’s biggest domestic carrier present in all markets. This winter the LCC will be operating a total of 15 routes across India. So far in 2016, AirAsia India has carried 2.2% of all Indian domestic air travellers according to government figures. The airline launched operations in June 2014 and will operate a fleet of eight A320s this winter.
