GLO grows New Orleans network with Huntsville route

Huntsville Airport welcomed GLO’s first flight from New Orleans on 30 September with a Mardi Gras-themed cake. Flights on the 612-kilometre sector will be flown thrice-weekly (Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays) on the carrier’s Saab 340 fleet

  • GLO commenced its fourth year-round route from New Orleans (MSY) on 30 September, a short 612-kilometre link to Huntsville (HSV) in Alabama. The city pair will be flown by the regional US airline thrice-weekly (Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays) on its 34-seat Saab 340s. The Louisiana-Alabama city pairing will face no direct competition. GLO already connects New Orleans to Little Rock, Memphis and Shreveport year-round based on OAG schedules, while it also offers seasonal flights between the Louisianan city and Destin – Fort Walton Beach. See how Huntsville Airport’s FTWA compares to others from around the world.
