Wizz Air welcomes eight new connections

On 31 October Wizz Air commenced flights between the capitals of Lithuania and Iceland, a link from Vilnius to Reykjavik/Keflavik. Cutting the ribbon in the Lithuanian capital is Jūratė Baltrušaitytė, CCO of Lithuanian Airports. The 2,826-kilometre capital connection will be flown by Wizz Air twice-weekly (Mondays and Fridays).

On 30 October Fuerteventura joined Wizz Air’s route map as the ULCC commenced flights to the Canary Islands airport from Budapest. Flights on the 3,544-kilometre connection will be flown weekly (Sundays).

Along with Fuerteventura, another new airport addition to Wizz Air’s network this week is Satu Mare in Romania. Wizz Air will link the airport with London Luton twice-weekly (Mondays and Fridays).
