Dancers, speeches, ribbon- and cake cutting – the perfect route launch recipe for Condor’s Frankfurt to Fort-de-France route. Performing the latter were: Jens Boyd, Director Long Haul & Revenue Management, Condor; Pascal Reine Adelaide, Europachef Martinique; Winfried Hartmann, SVP Sales & Customer Relations Frankfurt Airport; Tsegai Misgana Flight Attendant, Condor; and Sophie Laszlo, Consul of France in Frankfurt. Down in Munich it was a similar affair for the start of Condor’s route to San Jose in Costa Rica. Although here they also waved flags from the cockpit windows!
- Condor, the German leisure airline, began two new long-haul services in the last seven days. First up on 6 November, was the weekly (Sundays) rotation to Fort-de-France (FDF) in Martinique from Frankfurt (FRA) – the airline’s biggest base in terms of weekly seats. The next day, the airline began another weekly (Mondays) service, this time from its second largest hub, flying from Munich (MUC) to San Jose (SJO) in Costa Rica. Both routes will face no direct competition and are operated by the airline’s 767-300 equipment.
