Moscow’s newest airport – Zhukovsky – welcomed its third scheduled airline on 1 November, when UVT Aero started domestic flights from Kazan. Helping themselves to a piece of route launch cake were: Tomas Vaisvila, CEO Ramport, Zhukovsky Airport and Petr Trubaev, General Director, UVT Aero.
- UVT Aero, the Russian regional airline, has become the third scheduled airline to begin operations in to Moscow Zhukovsky (ZIA), joining existing partners Belavia and Ural Airlines. Starting on 1 November, the carrier began daily domestic operations, using its 50-seat CRJ 200s (of which it currently has six), from Kazan (KZN). The 701-kilometre city pair will face no direct competition.
