Wizz Air gets going on its second and third Grenoble services

Vilnius Airport celebrated the launch of Wizz Air flights to Grenoble on 14 January. Among the festivities was a ribbon cutting ceremony, while passengers on the first flight were also treated to sparkling wine. No other carriers currently link the two airports. Flights will be operated on Wizz Air’s 180-seat A320s.

  • Wizz Air inaugurated two routes to Grenoble (GNB) on 14 January – Gdansk (GDN) and Vilnius (VNO). Both 1,370- and 1,749-kilometre sectors will be served by the ULCC weekly (Saturdays) on its 180-seat A320s. The Polish city and Lithuanian capital become the second and third routes that Wizz Air operates to the French airport, with them both joining the airline’s existing weekly (Saturdays) service from Warsaw Chopin. No other carriers currently link Gdansk and Vilnius to Grenoble. All three seasonal services will operate until 25 March according to OAG schedules.
