Fly Corporate, the Australian regional airline, has taken over the Brisbane to Biloela-Thangool sector from Qantas. The latter operated the city pair in Queensland until 30 January, with Fly Corporate’s operations beginning on 1 February.
- Fly Corporate has commenced its fifth non-stop city pair from its Brisbane (BNE) base on 1 February, launching an eight times weekly operation to Biloela-Thangool (THG) in the Shire of Banana, Central Queensland. The 409-kilometre domestic sector, flown by the regional carrier’s 34-seat Saab 340 fleet, joins its four other non-stop routes from the Queensland capital – namely Armidale, Coffs Harbour, Narrabri and Tamworth. As a result, the airline now offers 31 weekly frequencies from the airport. Fly Corporate assumes responsibility of the service from Qantas, which flew the route until 30 January according to OAG schedules.
