Avianca makes its way from Medellin to Monteria
Avianca began flights on the 299-kilometre link between Medellin and Monteria on 26 March. Among the celebrations was a ribbon cutting ceremony. Avianca will operate the route daily on a mixture of its single-aisle Airbus aircraft alongside VivaColombia which already operates the route at the same frequency.
- Avianca chose 26 March as the date on which to launch its latest Colombian domestic connection, a 299-kilometre link between Medellin (MDE) and Monteria (MTR). The Star Alliance member will operate the route daily on a mixture of its single-aisle Airbus aircraft when consulting OAG schedules. The city pairing is already served by VivaColombia which also operates a daily connection between the two cities. Vote for Monteria’s FTWA in this week’s Arch of Triumph Public Vote.
