SAS strengthens Scandinavian hub connections

Cutting the cake at Stuttgart Airport to officially open SAS’ new six times weekly link from Stockholm Arlanda on 26 March are Lena Wasner, Manager Marketing Communication and Traffic Development, Stuttgart Airport and Andrea Munoz, Key Account Manager Germany Global Sales, SAS. The route will be flown on CRJ 900s.

SAS Copenhagen Riga

Riga Airport welcomed SAS’ new link from Copenhagen on 26 March, a connection it will operate 12 times weekly. SAS Aalborg to Oslo

Cutting the ribbon in Aalborg to officially open SAS’ new link to Oslo Gardermoen were Lars Wigelstorp Andersen, Director of Public Affairs and Infrastructure, SAS and Søren Svendsen, Director of Aalborg Airport. SAS will offer five weekly flights on the 351-kilometre sector from the Norwegian capital, facing direct competition from SUN-AIR’s 40 weekly flights.

SAS Faroe Islands

Seen taxing for departure at Faroe Islands Airport on 26 March is the return flight of SAS’ new daily service from Copenhagen. The Star Alliance member will face direct competition from Atlantic Airways on the 1,342-kilometre link to the Danish capital.
