- Malindo Air has had a busy week launching several new routes, mainly from its main base in Kuala Lumpur (KUL). The highlight is a new daily service to Brisbane (BNE) in Australia via Denpasar (DPS) on the Indonesian island of Bali. Myanmar has also been added to the airline’s network with the introduction on 3 April of a four times weekly service to Yangon (RGN). The LCC has also resumed service to Chittagong (CGP) in Bangladesh with a three times weekly service. The route was previously operated by Malindo in 2014. All of the airline’s new routes will be flown using its fleet of 737-800s. Vote for Brisbane Airport’s FTWA in this week’s Arch of Triumph Public Vote.
