Pobeda launches first Turkish scheduled operations

A ceremony was organised to celebrate the first scheduled flight of Pobeda arriving at Gazipaşa-Alanya from Moscow Vnukovo. Attending the event was Gazipaşa District Governor Nurullah Kaya; the Gazipaşa, Alanya and Anamur Mayors; Pobeda GM Andrey Kalmykov; and TAV Gazipaşa COO Cengiz Aşıklı. The 188 arriving passengers were welcomed with flowers.

  • Pobeda started flights between Moscow Vnukovo (VKO) and Gazipaşa-Alanya (GZP) on 21 April – becoming the airline’s first scheduled operations to Turkey. The LCC will operate three weekly flights until November. The 2,177-kilometre, 737-800-operated sector will face no direct competition. TAV Gazipaşa COO Cengiz Aşıklı stated: “Having been operated by TAV Airports since 2008, Gazipaşa Airport provides significant contribution to the development of the region.
