easyJet enters two more UK-Spain sectors

London Southend will see easyJet add Murcia to its Spanish network for S17, joining existing services to Barcelona, Alicante, Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca and Malaga.
- easyJet has added Murcia (MJV) to its London Southend (SEN) network on 27 April, becoming the LCC’s sixth Spanish route from the UK airport. Three days later the airline started another link between the UK and Spain, this time from Edinburgh (EDI) to Bilbao (BIO). Both routes face no competition and will be operated twice-weekly by easyJet’s A319 fleet. Bilbao is now served from four UK airports while Murcia is served from three. In all easyJet will be operating 83 routes between the UK and Spain this summer, ranging from weekly flights (Liverpool to Fuerteventura) to a six times daily service between London Gatwick and Barcelona. See how Murcia Airport’s FTWA compares to others from around the world.
