US-Bangla Airlines has made BangkokSuvarnabhumi (BKK) its latest international destination. On 3 May the carrier launched a four times weekly (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays) service on the 1,566-kilometre sector from Dhaka (DAC) using its 737-800s. Competition is provided by four other carriers; Thai Airways (twice-daily flights), Bangkok Airways and Biman Bangladesh Airlines (both with daily flights), and Regent Airways which offers twice-weekly flights. US-Bangla Airlines’ other international destinations are Kathmandu (Nepal), Kolkata (India), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Muscat (Oman) and Singapore.
