Sun D’Or International Airlines enters Malaga market

Cheers to Sun D’Or International Airlines, which started the 3,623-kilometre link from Tel Aviv to Malaga on 28 May. Toasting the carrier’s arrival in Spain were (from second left): Salvador Merino Moína, Malaga Airport Director; Gemma Yela, Head of Commercial Division, Malaga Airport; and Walter Wasercier, Director for Spain and Portugal, El Al.

  • Sun D’Or International Airlines began on 28 May a twice-weekly (Thursdays and Sundays) service from Tel Aviv (TLV) to Malaga (AGP). The Spanish airport joins just three others in the country with flights to Israel – namely Barcelona, Madrid and Valencia. The 3,623-kilometre sector will be operated by a variety of the airline’s fleet, and faces no direct competition.
