Volodymyr Dzhydzhora, Chargé d’Affaires of Ukraine and Peter Foster, President and CEO of Air Astana shake hands to celebrate the resumption of Air Astana’s non-stop flights between Astana and Kiev. Flights resumed on 1 June and will operate five times weekly using a mix of the airline’s A320s and E190s. The carrier last connected the two capital cities in July 2014.
- Air Astana has resumed flights between Astana (TSE) and Kiev Boryspil (KBP). On 2 June the flag carrier of Kazakhstan began five times weekly flights on the 2,823-kilometre sector, which the airline last operated between April 2013 and July 2014 according to OAG data. Air Astana will use a mix of its A320s and E190s on the route which is already served by Ukraine International Airlines with six weekly flights.
