World Tour 2017 continues: latest stop the 140th IATA Slot Conference in Kuala Lumpur – read our magazines for FREE here

52 pages of route development joy!! Not everybody can justify attending the IATA Slot Conferences, but reading the Show Daily magazines is almost as good as being there…without the tedious long-haul travel. Rammed full of interesting features like our ‘Killer Slide’ pages ‒ the absolute need-to-know facts from some of the most proficient airport marketing teams in the world ‒ or our ‘Most Wanted Airport in the World’ article, this is far from being a boring bedtime read!!

After a busy few months on the road, schlepping from one route development conference to the next since February, many airport marketing delegates will trudge back to their respective marble-floored and air-conditioned offices at the end of this week, battered and bruised after the 140th IATA Slot Conference, ready for a well-earned summer break. While in KL this week, they were able to read the Show Dailies, printed onsite live at the event, hosted by Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), who held a memorable evening reception at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, with the stunning Petronas Twin Towers as a backdrop. The Arrivals magazine features an interview with KLIA’s main man and GM Airline Marketing, Mohamed Sallauddin Mohamed Shah, and a report on the future for the Worldwide Slot Guidelines. The Departures magazine covers some exciting route announcements which were revealed by airlines and airports at the event. The rest of these two publications – over 100 pages combined – were bulging full of coverage from the various drinks receptions, networking events as well as all the news from the exhibition floor.

The Departures magazine features the now ever-present booth pub crawl, where delegates were offered food and drink from networking event sponsors Berlin Brandenburg Airport; FlightGlobal; Finavia; Melbourne Airport, Sydney Airport and of course –!
