  • SunExpress has used the last week to commence four new routes to destinations in Austria, Germany and Russia. The average sector length of the new city pairs is 2,204 kilometres, with the shortest airport pair being the 1,576-kilometre service from Ankara (ESB) to Vienna (VIE), while the longest is the 2,725-kilometre operation from Elazig (EZS) to Frankfurt (FRA). The average weekly frequency of the four new routes is just 1.25. Just one of the four new routes will see any direct competition for the airline. All routes will be flown by the leisure carrier’s 737-800s. See how Moscow Zhukovsky Airport’s FTWA compares to others from around the world
