- SA Airlink has now begun flights to Victoria Falls (VFA), with it starting services from Cape Town (CPT). It should be noted that South African Airways, which has a codesharing and schedule co-ordination agreement with SA Airlink, already serves Victoria Falls with flights from Johannesburg. Flights from Cape Town were inaugurated on 2 July and will be flown six times weekly on the airline’s fleet of ERJ 135s. The 1,904-kilometre connection is already flown by Kenya Airways, with it operating twice-weekly flights, increasing to three times weekly from 13 July, on its Nairobi–Victoria Falls–Cape Town route, with the airline having local traffic rights on the Zimbabwe–South Africa part of the sector when referring to the carrier’s booking engine.
