Registration closes on 18 August for the air transport charity race, which takes place on Budapest Airport’s runway 13R-31L, Saturday 2 September. SITA and SWISS are the latest teams to sign-up. Think you can beat them? Register now!

JUST TWO DAYS LEFT! Sign up now to the Budapest Runway Run

All in aid of child cancer charities and other good causes, teams and individuals from over 150 airlines, airports and other aviation enterprises have so far signed up for the event which offers two race lengths (5km = two runway lengths and 10km = four runway lengths). It’s the final countdown to turn your promise of support into a full registration.

Prize categories in everything from airlines and airports to media and concessionaires – indeed absolutely everyone in the air transport community is welcome to take part.

Lucky for some…

With thirteen top prizes for airlines, airports, other air transport enterprises, military aviators, and individual fastest male/female runners there’s a category for everyone. And every finisher gets “The Bron’s Medal” named for after publisher’s late daughter – whose life was preciously prolonged by bone marrow transplants enabled by the very same charity passionately supported by the Budapest Runway Run.

Budapest trophies 2017 are awarded for:

  • Fastest Male 10k
  • Fastest Female 10k
  • Fastest Male 5k
  • Fastest Female 5k
  • Fastest Airline Team: “The Fastest Airline in the World”
