Pobeda launches its third German destination

On 19 October, Pobeda flight DP 815, a new airline for Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden, arrived at the German airport with 180 passengers aboard. Taking part in the extensive ribbon cutting ceremony among other VIPs and Pobeda representatives were: Manfred Jung, MD Baden-Airpark; Dr. Frank Mentrup, Lord Mayor of Karlsruhe; and Margret Mergen, Lady Mayor of Baden-Baden. All were accompanied by the “Black Forest girls”.

  • Pobeda, the wholly-owned LCC subsidiary of Aeroflot, is now flying to its third German airport –Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden (FKB). The 189-seat, 737-800-operated service joins the airline’s existing routes to Cologne Bonn and Memmingen. The three times weekly service from Moscow Vnukovo (VKO) started on 19 October and will also allow passengers connecting flights to Sochi, the sister city of Baden-Baden.
