Thai Lion Air’s inaugural service from Bangkok Don Mueang to Taipei Taoyuan was officially opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony at the latter airport on 20 October. The 2,485-kilometre route will be served by a mixture of the airline’s 737-800s and 737-900s. NokScoot Airlines and Tigerair Taiwan already serve the airport pair with daily flights.
