- China Eastern Airlines launched flights from Guangzhou (CAN) to Cebu (CEB) on 20 January. The Chinese carrier will operate the 1,843-kilometre airport pair twice-weekly (Tuesdays and Saturdays). The airline faces no direct competition on its new route, which it will operate with 737-800s. OAG schedules show that China Eastern also serves Cebu from Shanghai Pudong. It will operate that airport pair daily during the week commencing 23 January and again faces no direct competition. See how Cebu Airport’s FTWA compares to others from around the world.
