JC International Airlines launches first Singapore service

There were celebrations to welcome JC International Airlines’ first flight on its new service from Phonm Penh to Singapore on 25 January. The Cambodian carrier will operate the 1,135-kilometre airport pair with daily flights, but faces direct competition from incumbent airlines SilkAir and Jetstar Asia which will provide a combined 30 frequencies on the route during the week commencing 30 January.

  • JC International Airlines launched operations on a new connection from Phnom Penh (PNH) in Cambodia to Singapore (SIN) on 25 January. It will operate daily services on the 1,135-kilometre airport pair using A320s. The Cambodian carrier faces stiff competition in the form of incumbent operators SilkAir and Jetstar Asia, which will offer 19 and 11 frequencies on the route respectively during the week commencing 30 January. The new route is JC International Airlines’ only link to Singapore.
