anna.aero World Tour 2018 starts at Routes Americas in Quito; CONNECT next week

Featuring the interview with the Quiport air service development team that brought Air Europa to the city in January, as well as all of the pre-show news from some of the 150 airports which attended the event. This magazine was thrust into the expectant hands of 650 delegates as they entered the Centro de Exposiciones in Quito.

The two on-site anna.aero Show Dailies were written and printed overnight in Quito, and gobbled-up at breakfast every day by hungry delegates excited to see detailed coverage of what they had been doing only hours before in the conference’s very own daily newspaper.

The Routes Americas 2018 event brought together 650 delegates taking part in 2,100 air service development meetings. Leading airlines that attended the event included American Airlines, International Airlines Group (IAG), Aeromexico, Air Canada, LATAM Airlines, tame and JetSmart. Around 70 airlines, 150 airports and 35 tourism authorities were ecstatic to be in Ecuador this week.

Each daily edition was rammed full of the latest market updates from the great and the good of the assembled airport marketing teams here in Quito to secure that next big route. Whether or not you attended Routes Americas, you can now sit in the comfort of your office, bar or bath while you browse through these flippable versions.

“To be nominated for the Routes Americas Marketing Award was exciting, but to actually win is an incredible honour,” said Kirk Lovell, Director of Air Service and Business Development. “The Myrtle Beach Airport team is grateful to our partners for recognising our unique and aggressive approach to marketing. A big thank to our airline partners for this recognition and for their continued confidence in MYR and the destination it serves, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.”

Next week the team will be on the road again, as the anna.aero World Tour 2018 tumbles into Tbilisi for CONNECT 2018. We will be producing two more Show Daily magazines crammed full of the latest route development news from the event, hosted this year in Georgia.

Along with all the news from the show floor, find out what the high-profile speakers including Juan Carlos Zuazua, CEO, VivaAerobus and Declan Ryan, CEO, Viva Air had to say in the conference sessions, as well as the winners of the Routes Americas 2018 Marketing Awards – did Denver beat all-comers again, this time in Ecuador?
