Budapest Airport-anna.aero Runway Run recognised for charity work
Budapest Airport-anna.aero Runway Run raised a record €39,500 last year – and has provided a staggering €130,000 for charity over the last five years. Equally sharing all profits from the annual air transport industry’s charity race between the airport’s chosen benefactor, Suhanj! Foundation – a Hungarian association which aims to share the enjoyment of sports with those living with disabilities – anna.aero proudly donates its share of the funds raised to Anthony Nolan, the UK-based bone marrow transplant association.
In recognition of the donations over the years Anthony Nolan now considers the Runway Run among its chief supporters and has added the event to the charity’s list of corporate partners: www.anthonynolan.org/8-ways-you-could-save-life/partner-us/our-corporate-partners
“The support from all involved over the years of the run has been incredible, it goes without saying that the Runway Run will be added to our special thanks annual roll call,” explains Laura Howard Jones, Head of Corporate Partnerships, Anthony Nolan. “The money raised goes a long way in saving and improving the lives of people with blood cancer, and we can’t thank you enough,” adds Jones.
Remember – all entry fees – still just €35 before July 2018 – are donated to charity. Be part of the story and join us at the only European runway run to be held in broad daylight on an active runway.
