Bangkok Airways adds third destination in Vietnam

Bangkok Airways’ first flight from Chiang Mai received a warm welcome at Hanoi Airport on 25 March.   • Bangkok Airways inaugurated a new connection between Chiang Mai (CNX) and Hanoi (HAN) on 25 March. The Thai carrier will operate the 764-kilometre sector daily using its ATR 72-500s or -600s. There is currently no direct competition on this route. Outbound flights depart Chiang Mai at 09:55, arriving in Hanoi at 12:00. The inbound flight departs Hanoi at 12:45, arriving back in Chiang Mai at 14:50. Hanoi becomes Bangkok Airways’ third destination in Vietnam adding to its services from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi to Da Nang and Phu Quoc.
