Iran Air has intensified the competition between the French and Iranian capital cities this week, introducing a twice-weekly operation. The crew on the inaugural service from Paris CDG were treated to a gate reception featuring route launch cakes and drinks.
- Iran Air introduced more capacity between the French and Iranian capital cities on 27 March. Joining incumbents Air France (three times weekly) and Mahan Air (four times weekly), the Iranian national carrier will fly from Tehran Imam Khomeini (IKA) to Paris CDG (CDG) twice-weekly (Tuesdays and Fridays). The 4,194-kilometre sector will be flown by Iran Air’s A330 fleet.
