Ruili Airlines commenced a three times weekly service between Jinghong in China and Chiang Rai in Thailand on 11 April, with the latter airport pulling out all the stops to welcome its newest airline. The short 241-kilometre hop between the two airports faces no direct competition, and will be flown on the Chinese airline’s 737-700s.
