Iberia begins sixth US sector

Iberia launched its latest transatlantic service on 25 April – San Francisco. The oneworld airline flies to six destinations in the US, but interestingly offers none to Canada.
- Iberia began three times weekly operations to San Francisco (SFO) on 25 April from its Madrid (MAD) hub. Flown by the IAG-owned airline’s A330-200 fleet, the latest addition to Iberia’s US network joins its existing services to Miami, New York JFK (both double-daily), Boston, Chicago O’Hare (both daily) and Los Angeles (five times weekly). The 9,326-kilometre sector will face no direct competition.
