Jazeera Airways joins Mumbai’s tailfins

As well as tasty-looking cake, there was a ribbon cutting to mark the start of Jazeera Airways’ new service from Kuwait City to Mumbai. Doing the honours were: Rethah Almousawi, VP Ground Services, Jazeera Airways; Raveen Pinto, VP, Mumbai Airport; Abdullah Ansari, Airport Manager India, Jazeera Airways; Rafik Bogdady, VP Sales, Jazeera Airways; and Savio Gomes; Training and Quality Manager Ground Operations, Jazeera Airways.

  • Jazeera Airways has added a new daily operation from its base at Kuwait City (KWI) to Mumbai (BOM). The route becomes the LCC’s fourth sector into India, and joins its existing flights to Ahmedabad, Kochi and Hyderabad. Flown by Jazeera’s A320 fleet, the 2,757-kilometre sector will face direct competition from Jet Airways and Kuwait Airways, who both offer double-daily flights.
