Air North commenced operations between Whitehorse and Victoria on 18 May, with one of the festivities to celebrate the route being a gift exchange. Flights will operate twice-weekly, with one of the weekly inbound and outbound services operating via Kelowna. Based on OAG schedules, flights are poised to be flown using the carrier’s 737-500s.
- Air North launched flights between Whitehorse (YXY) and Victoria (YYJ) on 18 May. The carrier will operate the 1,530-kilometre sector twice-weekly (Mondays and Fridays), with the first of the two weekly flights operating outbound via Kelowna, while the second of the weekly rotations is flown inbound via the latter city. The carrier will use its fleet of 737-500s on the route according to OAG schedules, with it also being the only airline to serve the city pair between Whitehorse and Victoria.
