- Edelweiss Air launched its latest US route on 4 June, a seasonal twice-weekly service to Denver (DEN). “We are very excited that Edelweiss Air is coming to Denver. Nearly 30,000 passengers travel between Denver and Switzerland each year, so this new non-stop service is supporting both business and leisure travellers and providing customers with a more convenient and relaxing travel experience,” said Larry Ryan, Lufthansa Group Senior Director of Sales for the US. The airline will operate the 8,277-kilometre link from Zurich (ZRH) twice-weekly (Mondays and Fridays) using its fleet of A330-300s. No other airlines currently connects these two cities.
