Saudi Arabian Airlines selects Malaga resumption

Saudi Arabian Airlines launched two summer seasonal routes to Malaga, with twice-weekly flights offered from its bases at Jeddah and Riyadh. The latter Saudi airport celebrated the inaugural departure on 9 June with this tasty-looking cake.

  • Saudi Arabian Airlines returned to the Spanish city of Malaga (AGP) this week, commencing twice-weekly 787-9-operated services from both Jeddah (JED) and Riyadh (RUH). The Middle Eastern carrier last served Malaga in 2004. Started on 9 June, the service from the nation’s capital city is flown on Wednesdays and Saturdays, whereas the Jeddah route, which commenced two days later, is operated on Mondays and Thursdays. The two seasonal services will run until early September, and both operate inbound to Saudi Arabia via Casablanca.
