Air Europa Madrid

Joining Air Europa crew and staff on the ramp at Düsseldorf to welcome the airline’s first flight from Madrid on 18 June were Florian Bongard, Manager Airline Marketing, Düsseldorf Airport (fourth from right) and María del Mar Ayudarte, Regional Director Central Europe & The Netherlands, Air Europa (second from right).

  • Air Europa launched services on a new link between Madrid (MAD) and Düsseldorf (DUS) on 18 June. It will serve the airport pair with twice-daily flights performed by E190s. The Spanish carrier faces competition on the 1,439-kilometre sector from Iberia, which will offer 21 flights on the airport pair during the week commencing 19 June. OAG schedules show that this is the only route the SkyTeam member will offer to Düsseldorf in S18.
