Jazeera Airways jumps into Georgia

Tbilisi welcomed the inaugural Jazeera Airways flight from Kuwait City on 13 June. It will operate the sector three times weekly and faces incumbent competition in the form of Wataniya Airways and Kuwait Airways.
- Jazeera Airways launched a new service from Kuwait City (KWI) to Tbilisi (TBS) on 13 June. It will operate the 1,410-kilometre sector three times weekly with A320s. The airport pair is already served by two incumbent carriers, Wataniya Airways with three weekly flights and Kuwait Airways which offers twice-weekly services. This is currently the only route that Jazeera Airways operates to Georgia.
