SunExpress starts six new services
Jonathan Pollard, CCO and Simon Harley, Head of Business Development, both from London Luton Airport, hosted SunExpress’ Head of Network Planning and Scheduling, Wilken Bellmann and anna.aero’s Editor Marc Watkins on 15 June to welcome the start of the airline’s new routes from the London airport, with Ankara, Antalya and Bodrum all launching in the last week.
- SunExpress launched six new routes from Turkey in the space of five days in the last week. The links to Stockholm Arlanda (ARN), Lyon (LYS) and Münster/Osnabrück (FMO) will operate weekly, while all three routes to London Luton (LTN) will be flown twice-weekly. anna.aero provides more comprehensive coverage of the Turkish carrier’s new route from Luton here. Sector lengths on the six new services vary from 1,992-kilometres to 2,948-kilometres, with an average route length of 2,623-kilometres. All of the routes will be operated by the airline’s 737-800s and only two face direct competition. See how London Luton Airport’s FTWA compares to others from around the world.
