World Tour 2018 continues: IATA Summer Slot Conference in Vancouver

The sixth network planning and route development event attended by this year ends today, as the 142nd IATA Slot Conference draws to a close in Vancouver. Delegates will now take a well-earned summer break before the conference season reconvenes with the World Routes event being held in Guangzhou in September.’s Arrivals and Departures Daily magazines from the 142nd Slots Conference are now available online, and are jam-packed with content including an interview with Carl Jones, Director of Air Service Development at Vancouver Airport. Before the delegates arrived in Vancouver this week we caught up with Carl Jones Director of Air Service Development, Vancouver Airport (YVR), to understand his priorities over the next few days as hosts of the 142nd IATA Slot Conference. There was also a chance to speak to with Philip Ireland, a member of the IATA Worldwide Slots team and ex-coordinator, about Slot Monitoring.
