Myway Airlines begins scheduled operations with flights to Kharkiv

Myway Airlines Tbilisi to Kharkiv

Kharkiv Airport welcomed the arrival of Myway Airlines first flight from Tbilisi on 12 June. Onboard were Georgian journalists, guests and representatives of Myway Airlines. An impressive cake was baked to mark the occasion.

  • Georgian start-up carrier Myway Airlines began scheduled services last week launching two routes to Kharkiv (HRK), with flights from Tbilisi (TBS) and Batumi (BUS) commencing on 12 June and 13 June respectively. The 1,137-kilometre Tbilisi sector and the 1,012-kilometre Batumi link will each operate twice-weekly. The Tbilisi route will be flown on Tuesdays and Saturdays and the Batumi connection on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Both airport pairs will be operated by the carrier’s 737-800s and there is no incumbent competition on either route. Volodymyr Vasylchenko, General Director, Kharkiv Airport said: “Georgia is a country where Ukrainians are always willing to fly. We love Georgian culture and Georgian hospitality. We are glad that our airport together with Myway Airlines gives the opportunity to have comfortable direct flights to Tbilisi and Batumi”. See how Kharkiv Airport’s FTWA compares to others from around the world.
