Small Planet Airlines started flights from Bourgas to Olsztyn-Mazury in Poland on 19 June. Among those at the launch was Tomasz Kądziołka, President, Olsztyn-Mazury Airport (second right). To celebrate the route, a plaque was signed by the inaugural passengers The carrier will operate a weekly (Tuesdays) service on the 1,304-kilometre route.
- Small Planet Airlines launched flights between Bourgas (BOJ) and Olsztyn-Mazury (SZY) in Poland on 19 June. The carrier will offer a weekly (Tuesdays) service on the 1,304-kilometre intra-Eastern European connection, with it poised to use its fleet of A320s on the airport pair. The airline will launch a second route from the Polish airport on 3 July, with it beginning a weekly service to Cologne Bonn. Small Planet is an airline based in Lithuania, and according to a press release that it sent out in March, it is planning to add six extra units to its fleet in 2018, taking it to a total of 28 Airbus family aircraft. While its focus is mainly based around charter operations, it does offer a number of scheduled services, mainly on its routes from Poland to Albania, Bulgaria and Greece.
