Aeroflot Moscow Sheremetyevo to Naples
Same day, same country…more cake! Also launched on 1 July by Aeroflot was a daily connection to Naples. The inaugural flight crew were given the special honours of cutting the route launch cake. Shame Italy aren’t in the World Cup so that their fans can get to Russia!! Flights to Naples will be operated using A320s.
Aeroflot added two new Italian destinations to its route map from its Moscow Shermetyevo base this week. Seen launching the SkyTeam carrier’s new daily service to Verona by cutting the cake were Camillo Bozzolo, Head of Commercial & Marketing Aviation SAVE Group and Andrey Dobryakov, Representative of Aeroflot in Venice.
- Aeroflot added its fifth and sixth Italian destinations from its Moscow Sheremetyevo (SVO) hub this week, commencing daily operations to Naples (NAP) and Verona (VRN). The routes join the SkyTeam carrier’s existing services to Milan Malpensa (35 times weekly), Rome Fiumicino (35), Venice Marco Polo and Bologna (both served twice-daily). The routes to Naples and Verona both started on 1 July and are flown by the airline’s A320 fleet,with neither facing direct competition.
