- Air Corsica has consolidated its services into Brussels Charleroi (CRL), now offering flights from a third airport in Corsica, Calvi (CLY). The new weekly (Tuesdays) 180-seat A320-flown route was launched on 3 July, and will provide 3,240 two-way seats over the peak summer season, as the sector operates until 28 August. This news comes alongside an expansion of its other two existing routes from Charleroi, to Ajaccio and Bastia, which were launched last year. After the success enjoyed during S17, Air Corsica is extending these two routes from S18 until January 2019, and has increased the weekly frequencies as well. This represents an increase of 26,960 seats compared with 2017. No other airline offers this airport pair.
