Emirates signs up 20 runners as the last chance to register at ridiculously low price approaches

BUD Runway Run

Sunday really will be the last day to get the lowest price possible for this year’s Budapest Airport-anna.aero Runway Run. We’ve done our research and there really aren’t many runs – let alone one in daylight on the active runway of a major European airport – which come at such a ridiculously low price. So come and support amazing charity causes, including international child cancer causes and a Hungarian charity assisting with the inclusion of handicapped people in sports.

Sunday will be the last day that you can get the lowest possible price to enter the must-be-at aviation charity sportive event organised by Budapest Airport and anna.aero. We’ve done our research and found the 5k or 10k run on Budapest’s 13R-31L runway is one of the cheapest around – you could pay €50 to do a run-of-the-mill half marathon or just €35 to experience the rare privilege of running in daylight on the active runway of a major European airport.

Budapest Airport Runway Run

The air transport industry’s own charity race takes place on Budapest Airport’s Runway 13R-31L on Saturday 1 September in aid of child cancer charities and other good causes. Teams and individuals from airlines, airports and other aviation enterprises have signed up for the event which offers two race lengths (5km = two runway lengths and 10km = four runway lengths) – it’s just €35 at the moment but the price must increase to €60 on Monday. We don’t mind your extra cash for charity but if you want to get a bargain price SIGN UP NOW!
