anna.aero World Tour 2018 continues: World Routes in Guangzhou

Not even Typhoon Mangkhut could stop the high-level route development and networking taking place at the 24th World Routes forum in Guangzhou this week, the seventh and biggest network planning event of the year. The 3,000+ delegates will now take a well-earned break after four days and millions of steps between meetings will have no doubt taken their toll on these delicate marketeers. anna.aero’s Show Daily magazines from the event are now available online, and are jam-packed with content including interviews with many of the exhibiting airports and tourism bodies, as well as Hat of the Day! There is also coverage from the World Route Marketing Awards, where Brussels Airport was proclaimed champion for the third time.

As the 3,300 delegates, comprising of more than 560 airline representatives, over 1,100 airport delegates and 150 tourism authority staff, were begining to arrive at World Routes 2018, our route development news hounds were already on the trail of some hot networking – namely the Saturday evening reception and all of the Guangzhou city tours. Issue 1 is also tightly packed with oodles of pre-show news.

There are 112 pages chocked full of show news from World Routes in Guangzhou! As well as all the latest network development gossip from the exhibition floor, there is also coverage of how the show did go on in the hotel bars and lobbies following the typhoon evacuation; pictures from all of the Saturday tours; and all the winners of this sector’s most prestiguous awards – the World Routes Marketing Awards.
