Aeroflot launches 14 news links from Moscow Sheremetyevo

Aeroflot commenced 14 new routes from Moscow Sheremetyevo in the space of two days in the past week. Half of these routes are domestic links. One of the seven new international services is a connection to Gothenburg, which will operate daily. Johan Eriksson, is Aeroflot’s Regional Sales Manager for Scandinavia, Finland and Iceland.

  • Aeroflot launched 14 new routes from Moscow Sheremetyevo (SVO) in the past week, with 13 starting on 28 October and one on the following day. Half of the new routes are domestic connections. Weekly frequencies on the new routes will range from three to 21. The shortest sector is the 711-kilometre domestic connection to Ulyanovsk (ULV), while the longest is the 10,057-kilometre link to Denpasar (DPS). The average sector length across the new routes is 2,785 kilometres. Only five of the new airport pairs will face direct competition.
