Swoop swept into the US this week, staring four new services between Canada and its North American neighbour. Tampa welcomed the arrival of the LCC’s first flight from Hamilton on 27 October. - Swoop has commenced its first flights to the US just in time for the start of the winter flying programme. The Canadian LCC’s first flights to its North American neighbour took off on 27 October. It launched four new US links in total over the past week including one from Edmonton (YEG) and three from Hamilton (YHM). The weekly frequency on these new sectors varies from two to four. The average sector length is 2,166 kilometres. Swoop will not face any direct competition on the four new airport pairs.
