Sun Country Airlines nets six new Nashville routes

Sun Country Airlines Nashville

Sun Country Airlines launched two new routes from Tampa Airport this week, namely to St. Louis and Nashville. Posing with the cake for the launch to St. Louis are the airport’s marketing and operations team.

  • Sun Country Airlines has added nine new routes to its network this week, of which six involve Nashville (BNA), a new airport to the carrier’s network. Along with these routes, the airline has also added two new services from Portland (PDX), while a connection from Tampa (TPA) to St. Louis (STL) has also been inaugurated. Of the routes, only one will not face direct competition during the week of launch, that being from Nashville to Southwest Florida (RSW). However, it should be pointed out that American Airlines and Frontier Airlines both offer a seasonal service on this route. All nine routes will be flown using 737-800s on a twice-weekly basis.
