Frontier Airlines commences 28 new connections

Tampa Airport once again displayed its excellent cullinary marketing skills during the past two weeks, this time baking a trio of cakes for a multitude of new Frontier Airlines services. Pictured with the cake that was made for the airline’s inaugural flight to Grand Rapids are some of Tampa Airport’s Marketing and Communications Team: Ashley Iaccarino, Communications Manager; Debbie Stokes, Marketing Coordinator; Maria Cook, Events Manager; Jacob Taylor, Marketing Intern; and Trudy Brandvold, Marketing Specialist.

  • Frontier Airlines launched 28 new routes between 7 and 17 November, with 20 of the new connections involving an airport in Florida. What is also worth noting is that only five of the routes face direct competition at the time of launch, however some of the routes will face direct competition during the lead up to the festive season. The average weekly frequency of Frontier’s 28 new routes is 2.5, while the mean sector length is 1,880 kilometres.
