Lufthansa launched a daily service between Munich and Osaka Kansai on 31 March, a route it will operate daily using A350-900s. - Lufthansa launched its second route to Japan from Munich (MUC) on 31 March, with it initiating a daily service to Osaka Kansai (KIX). The route complements the airline’s existing route between the German hub and Tokyo Haneda, a route which is also flown daily by the carrier. Osaka Kansai services will be operated using the Star Alliance member’s A350-900s, with no other operator presently serving the 9,234-kilometre sector.
