- LOT Polish Airlines launched flights between Krakow (KRK) and Bucharest (OTP) on 1 April. The carrier will operate the 774-kilometre sector three times weekly using its fleet of Q400s, with rotations taking place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. “We welcome the development of our national carrier at Krakow Airport. Bucharest is another connection from the interesting and diverse offer of LOT connections, long awaited by passengers. I am sure that our continued cooperation with LOT and other carriers will strengthen us as a leader among European regional airports. It will also allow for the consistent development of the tourist and business industry of Krakow and Małopolska,” comments Radosław Włoszek, CEO of Krakow Airport. No other airline presently flies between Krakow and Bucharest according to OAG Schedules Analyser data.
